Two tourists on a zipline in Costa Rica got quite the fright, but also some spectacular video, when a local parrot decided to flying along with them.
Kelsey Combes posted this footage from her 2018 trip to Costa Rica as part of the Hozier’s yell trend, where users showcase their awe-inspiring moments. The real footage shows Combes and her friend screaming the entire time, rather than being all that inspired by the macaw-some encounter.
“We were on top of the mountain ready to go down the zipline and the bird landed right near us,” Combes explained to Storyful. “The worker told us to be careful near it because sometimes they attack.”
Once the pair were zipping along, the bird reappeared. “That’s why we were screaming in the video, because we thought it would attack us!” Combes said.
