A bossy parrot gave a pair of pooches a telling off for his loud barking in a hilarious video.

Brenda Griffiths, from Mississauga, Ontario, filmed the footage of her two dogs Dugan and Murphy barking in the background while African Grey Parrot, Otis, shouts at them to 'stop it'.

Three-year-old Otis is quite the character after Brenda bought him from a breeder and says he is a very chatty bird.

Brenda, 47, said: "Our dogs are always barking when there is a squirrel in the yard or activity at the front door.
